There's just one problem. The date doesn't automatically change when it's 12 AM in my local time, it changes at some other time or when I manually tamper with it (like going to the next month and then coming back to the current month). Other than that, things are working fine. Please fix this. Thank you.

I want to say that the 2x update helped my issue but it did not. Thanks, but Its OK though as I managed a work around and figured the issue of my ceased recurring events replicated on all days was isolated to one cal, I added another email in the events & deselect the trouble calendar. Issue has ceased. Not sure if recurring reminders /task on G calendar might be the cause.

You can't write anything in that calendar. Even on a paid version. I don't see any improvement vs free version. When you click on some date, you can't write you schedule in it, it opens Google calendar or Mi calendar to write it in. It would not supposed to work like that
