I was looking for such app for a long time, just shared the wifi connection link with my friend who was coming to my home and link didn't had the password, and my friend just got connected with my router by clicking on the link π, seems like very useful app. Great work, absolutely recommended π

Please be wary of the fact that this reveals the SSID password upon scanning the QR code using QRbot (3rd-party) app. Also, the link being shared from here only leads the user to download this app itself which is pointless since the end-user doesn't have an Internet access yet to download this app to begin with. Keep in mind that not all Android phones have QR code camera installed to scan the image.

Hi. Wi-Fi sharing using QR is not encrypted, so the network info can be read using QR scanner. The encrypted QR upgrade will be available in August. You don't need QR camera, a native phone camera works.
When you share Wi-Fi using encrypted share link, both party must have the app installed in order to decode the encryption without reveal password.
