wikiloops is a global music collaboration platform where musicians build songs together. Since 2011 the community has created more than 250k tracks by layering recordings from musicians around the world.

Browse tracks and find the perfect jam or practice session. You can explore the collection by instrument, genre, tempo and meter to quickly find music that fits what you want to play.

wikiloops is especially known for its large collection of drum tracks recorded by real drummers. These tracks are perfect for practicing, improvising or building new music on top.

The app includes a simple Field Recorder that lets you record yourself playing or singing along with any wikiloops track directly in the app.

The recorder is intentionally lo-fi and spontaneous. It’s made for capturing musical ideas, practice sessions or fun jams wherever you are.

Sharing your field recording on wikiloops is optional, but it’s often the most fun part. Many musicians enjoy posting their spontaneous “today’s jam” recordings to the community.

You can also collect tracks you love using the Favorites feature. Build your own practice routine, save inspiring jams and quickly return to the tracks you enjoy most.

wikiloops is more than a track library. It’s a community of musicians collaborating on music. Follow other musicians, comment on tracks and discover new collaborators from around the world.
