Wild Douro is born from a friendship, a beautiful encounter between two people who share the same passion for the world Both with great professional experience, she in tourism, he in communication and technologies, they felt the urgent call to, together and doing what they love most, share with the world another greater passion: the Portugal of the present, of the roots and traditions.
This is how in 2018 Wild Douro was born, an Incoming Tourist Agency dedicated to building programs that take place in the national territory, mainland and islands, based on their customs, their stories and their people.
Wild Douro's field of action extends to the neighboring country, heirs that we are of a common Iberian identity. Spain is a vibrant nation, with expressions as diverse as they are authentic, with deep historical connections to Portugal, which is why it makes perfect sense to work together in both territories.
We are in the North, a city that inspires us, but we come from various corners of the country. The team has already grown, shares with the founders a taste for life, and is more than determined to make people happy every day.
We are a DMC (Destination Management Company), we build programs that meet the needs of those who come to us, we make proposals based on our deep knowledge of the territory and its traditions, but we adapt, we individualize the programs, we make them to measure.
We work each program with the same passion, the same drive, the same commitment. This guarantees the experience of a unique place, an overwhelming landscape, an authentic flavor, a remarkable person.
