It doesn't just "just work", it saved my life! Well, not literally... My Raspberry Pi serves me as a VPN when I am away, with a dynamic DNS server managing my domain name. My provider changed my IP address, and somehow the DDNS didn't pick up the change, so I couldn't log on to my VPN. I used Dataplicity to log onto my Pi remotely, used lynx to find my external IP address, amended the DDNS and I got my VPN back!
Awesome! One of those apps that just simple works. Great idea, implementation, wormhole, very useful documentation, online help (if someone needs)... Looking forward what team is cooking next :)
Excellent Easy to install and easy to use. Couldn't be any simpler really. I'd like it even more if it had 2-factor auth as an option.
NOT A REAL RATING (YET) It seems Reddit is getting smart with its' advertisements. I don't use any of my Pi's 24/7 anymore. I was hoping to test this on an x64 Linux server, but I assume the host software is compiled for ARM devices only? Fun fact: Searching for a device woke my sleeping PC.
Easy as Pi! Takes all the drudgery and mystery out of remotely controlling your RasPi! Simply the best.
