This program never worked for me. It requires access to the Internet to connect to an isolated router even though the iOS version does not. It also needs location access for unknown reasons that don't make sense for the task at hand. I wish Williams would have fixed these issues a long time ago, but I'm done waiting.

we have just installed the Wavecast Audio receiver connected to a data point in our church. This was an attempt to improve hearing for persons who use hearing aids. So far I am VERY disappointed with the system because there is a delay between the person speaking and the signal transmitted to your hearing aids. The tech support person I spoke with at Williams Sound told me that, "Yes, there is a delay (approximately .5 seconds) and that there is no solution to fix the delay." This makes the signal have an "echo" and essentially renders the system unusable. None of this was mentioned in the information supplied with the system. We have spent significant money and time to install this system, and I doubt that it will be used by any parishioners. So far.....I cannot recommend this system. For our church it is a fail.

Testing to see if this would be feasible to make lectures more accessible. I like the peer to peer principal be as this should lower latency. However the app can't find the wavecast 5d, either this android or the iPhone version. I have followed willamsav network guide and opened ports 3000-3303 in both directions between guest WiFi and the wavecast. Then opened all IP protocols still does not show even after
