Brainiac allows you to seamlessly install a tablet or aftermarket stereo head unit as the new central computer (or brain) for your vehicle built on top of Android.
Through a combination of Android software, hardware integration and unique features, Brainiac allows you to create an incredible customized experience in your vehicle!
Quickly launch applications with large touch targets, control your media and quickly adjust volume and track selection with two finger gestures or manage electrical systems in your car right from your touch screen through the Brainiac Relay Accessory.
NOTE: For Spotify track information to display on the home screen you must make sure that "Device Broadcast Status" is turned on in your Spotify settings.
NOTE: This application contains optional functionality that requires Accessibility API and Appear on top permissions to be turned on to provide global gesture based navigation for home, back and app switcher options. Pandora has skips in the music when listening offline. Doesn't show song title. I have been using carwebguru and it has it's own issues. It does show title but can't pause and skip, I can skip with yours. Also I have to shut off pandora when I am done or it continues to try and play running down tablet. Using Walmart ONN 10" tablet with latest Android version. This is in a 2000 Cherokee, I hope I can get this app better potential to be good for offroad applications.

Hi Bryan, for pausing the music playing when the vehicle is turned off, check out the "Tablet Smart Media Playback" setting in the General Settings area. It should stop the music when accessory power is turned off and start it back up again when power is back on. We're looking into Pandora song/artist information. Haven't figured it out quite yet.

This app cant do anything. Nice theme, and that is it. You can get much cheaper and even free apps that does a lot more than this app.

Hi Daniel, most of our features have been focused on supporting tablets with our in-dash kits. We have more features planned for regular head units, but haven't been able to focus on them quite yet.
