Ah Winamp, the finest of all the PC audio players of yesteryear. This isn't Winamp. This is an audio player on mobile. It successfully plays audio. Not well. Updating deleted all of my playlists, there is no option within this UI to select multiple so you'll be manually recreating those playlists. UI in general is bad and ugly with visual icons instead of anything that actually conveys what it does. No prompt if you're adding a song already in a playlist, when coupled with bad UI, sucks.

Swing and a miss for Winamp. Expecting UI closer to the Windows version. The UI is a closer to an "Android style" UI. A minor let-down for me. There are virtually no settings available. You can't customize folders to scan. There is no equalizer. The library is clunky and always puts you at the top of the list when you go back one page. Since this is "V1.0" hopefully they'll address some things and not put too much emphasis on Fanzone and more on controlling the user's library.

It doesn't really whip the llama's... point being, this is just some random music player which doesn't have any roots in Winamp other than the name. It requires online connection for the first use and pings Microsoft. Half the features in the app aren't even available without an account. No plug-ins, no skins, not even any visualizer. I'm gonna stick with Odyssey from Fdroid, open source and looks and works better than "Winamp"
