Ratings and reviews

Just a disclaimer before I give my complaints, that most of the app works fine and is as intended, the VPN runs as it's supposed to and doesn't have any problems when connected. My main issue with this and the reason why I'm dropping two stars is the infuriating issue that they haven't fixed where it automatically selects a suitable location for me sometimes, regardless of what location I had it set to before, or previously chosen and used. If I chose the location, please don't change it.

Been using it forever. Best part is. It works and a ton of locations. Subscription is beyond reasonable and easy to connect Has only been unreliable maybe 2 or 3 times over a 6 year period. But AMAZING VPN service with many choices Have used to connect to USA sites when in Brazil. Worked great to do my banking and USA things in other countries where the Internet is not so great. It's a "W" for the Windscribe. Can't go wrong.

Great overall product. However, there are quite a few caveats. I'd suggest reading into their no logging policy. There are certain things that they do log. and I've been experiencing DNS leaks from windscribe default DNS provider, wiregaurd can be fingerprinted via its set packet size, it doesn't handle handshakes well. The list goes on. Investigate every aspect of the software, the more you know, the better you can safely utilize it. 3 stars because of the caveats and the lack of transparency.
