Ratings and reviews

Wonderful speeds(!) for how privacy-centric this VPN is (and still strives to be, which I love), but random (and untelegraphed) disconnects are a problem—same as on desktop, but apparently worse :( I've recommended Windscribe to a friend previously, but I don't know if I could do it again with these disconnects. They have been RARE on desktop, but it's happened twice in two months now for the app.

Been using the lifetime premium since October 2016 and been loving it. I can watch foreign Netflix, get around pesky work website blockers, and download whatever I want without a worry. And the design is clean and easy to use. Can't recall any significant problems I've encountered with the mobile, browser extension, or desktop app in my half a decade of use (omg where did the years go O.o) It's a good VPN. It does what it says it does.

Great VPN, used free edition for a few years until I decided to buy 3 years premium for $17, great VPN, great deal. Download speeds go up to 700Mbps on certain servers (for Chrome extension version, 300Mbps for the desktop program, and 20-100+Mbps for phone as some phones are stronger then others) . You get a huge selection of servers and OVPN connections (I think it has supports a few other standards as well). Mobile app requires a force close (when it has issues connecting) around once a week, but other then that I am satisfied. 10/10 would buy again. Best VPN out there in my experience, you can even try out the free version before you buy a subscription.
