About this app

Segno is a rehearsal app for music classes and ensembles. The instructor sets the tempo and presses play; every student's part scrolls in time on their own device. No more "let's take it from letter C" while half the room finds the place.

For instructors
- Create a class and share a six-character join code. Upload your full score and a PDF part for each instrument. Start a live session, set the tempo, and every student who has joined follows along on their own part, from the same beat, at the same moment.
- Set each part up once — page orientation, how many staff lines are on a page, how many measures — and every student in the class inherits it. Sideways scans can be rotated and saved for everyone.

For students
- Join with the code from your teacher, pick your instrument, and open your own part. During a live session a read line moves across your music at the tempo your instructor set, so you always know which line the ensemble is on.
- Practise on your own too: open any of your parts between rehearsals and set your own tempo.
