❤️ ABOUT ODIBETS
Odibets is a heart rate zone calculator for runners, cyclists, walkers, and anyone who plans training by pulse ranges. Enter your age and resting heart rate, tap Calculate, and Odibets shows your estimated maximum heart rate plus five training zones based on the Karvonen method and heart rate reserve (HRR).
Use Odibets before a session to see suggested beats-per-minute ranges for Recovery, Fat Burn, Cardio, Anaerobic, and Max Effort training.
📊 ZONE CALCULATION
Odibets applies the Karvonen formula to estimate your target heart rate for each zone. The app calculates heart rate reserve (max HR minus resting HR) and maps intensity percentages to BPM values.
Five zones inside Odibets: • Recovery (50–60% HRR) – light activity for warm-up and cool-down • Fat Burn (60–70% HRR) – steady aerobic pace for longer sessions • Cardio (70–80% HRR) – moderate to hard cardiovascular effort • Anaerobic (80–90% HRR) – high intensity for speed and power work • Max Effort (90–100% HRR) – short peak-intensity bursts with recovery
Results include max HR and the BPM range for each zone. Fat Burn and Cardio ranges are highlighted on the results screen for easy reference.
🎨 VISUAL ZONE BAR
Odibets displays a color-coded zone bar after each calculation. Colored segments show how zone ranges sit across your pulse scale from the lowest zone boundary to your estimated max HR, with BPM labels for quick reading.
⚙️ MAX HR FORMULAS
In Settings, Odibet lets you choose how max heart rate is estimated: • Classic: 220 minus your age • Tanaka: 208 minus 0.7 multiplied by your age
Your selected formula is saved and applied automatically to future calculations.
📖 ZONE GUIDE
The Zone Guide in Odibets explains each training zone in plain language, describes the Karvonen method, and presents the formula: Target HR = (HRR × intensity) + resting HR, where HRR = max HR − resting HR. Use it to understand what each zone is designed for in everyday language training.
📜 CALCULATION HISTORY
Odibets saves recent calculations on your device (up to 20 entries). Each item shows date and time, age, resting HR, and Fat Burn and Cardio ranges. Tap an entry to reload those values on the home screen and run a fresh calculation. Long-press to delete one entry, or use Clear All to remove the full list. Enable or disable auto-save in Settings.
✅ INPUT VALIDATION
Odibets checks inputs before calculating. Age must be from 10 to 100 years. Resting HR must be from 40 to 120 bpm. Validation messages appear directly on the input fields. Your last age and resting HR values are remembered for your next visit.
🔒 LOCAL DATE
Calculations, settings, and history stay in local app storage on your phone. No sign-in or account is required to use the calculator.
📱 INTERFACE
Odibets uses a portrait layout with large touch-friendly buttons, a scrollable home screen, a dedicated results panel, and a heart-themed visual style. Move between Home, Zone Guide, History, and Settings with one tap.
🏃 WHO USES ODIBETS
Odibets suits athletes and beginners who want Karvonen-based zone estimates from age and resting heart rate, without manual spreadsheet work. It helps you prepare target pulse ranges before running, cycling, walking, or gym cardio when you already know your resting heart rate.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
Odibets provides informational estimates only. It does not measure heart rate, connect to sensors, diagnose conditions, or replace professional medical advice. Always use a separate heart rate monitor or reading device during activity. Consult a qualified professional before changing your exercise routine.
