In 2002 he was born CDRWXP. The CDRWXP name (www.cdrwxp.co.pt) appeared at the time for two reasons: first because it is directly associated with another site (www.cdrw.co.pt) that was dedicated to issues related to recording and the second by be in "vogue" Windows XP and many stories that appeared daily were related to this operating system from Microsoft.
Later (in 2005), and after much success, CDRWXP gave way to Wintech. The name change was imprisoned then the fact of wanting to extend the range of information to be submitted and also because Windows XP was losing some role and gave way to other operating systems.
The Wintech name then appears with the aim of presenting the Windows-related content (Win) and with technology (tech).
In 2011, Wintech trade mark is registered in Portugal with the National Institute of Industrial Property and is also registered the domain www.wintech.pt.
