A great little indie game. Short enough to finish in one sitting, but still long enough for its message to come through. The art is wonderfully atmospheric, and most of the music tracks are pretty good too. The one drawback is a frustrating set of timed puzzles that ruin the otherwise good pacing, but if you can look past that, Distraint is a true gem. It's nice to see an indie horror game that doesn't rely on jump scares. Late night coffee runs won't be quite the same after playing this one!

Very good except one part (with the green glowing spots on the wall) where you have to move the character very quickly with a lot of precision and the controls just aren't good enough to do this. This one part made me stop playing once and almost the second time I played through. If this were fixed it would be a great game.

Decent game, too short for my liking, doesn't offer many areas to explore so puzzles are way too easy. Yes this includes the infamous mushroom part, this has nothing to do with controls, you just have to remember which doors/directions to go, once done correctly the timer isn't difficult at all. Game story got too over the top, atmosphere is nice though, in some parts the music actually hurt my ears, RIP earbud users. :'D
