About this app

WireCraft is a VPN client for the server you already have, plus a clean, fast set of network tools. Connect in one tap, then check your connection, measure performance and troubleshoot everyday network problems, all in one app.

VPN WITH YOUR OWN SERVER

Add a server you already have (SSH, or VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks) by pasting a link, scanning a QR code, importing a file, adding a subscription or typing the details, and connect in one tap. WireCraft does not provide servers.

Your server details are stored encrypted on your device and never uploaded. WireCraft does not collect the sites you visit or the content of your traffic.

CHECK YOUR CONNECTION IN ONE TAP

Run Connection Diagnostics. WireCraft checks your public IP, DNS and latency and gives you a 0-100 connection quality score with a plain-language result, so you know if your network is fine or why it is not.

YOUR TOOLS

• Speed Test: measure download speed, upload speed and ping.
• Ping: test latency to any host and spot packet loss before it ruins a call, a game or a stream.
• DNS Lookup: look up A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and NS records from your device and compare with our servers.
• DNS Benchmark: test popular public DNS resolvers from your own network and see which one is fastest for you.
• Traceroute: see the path your traffic takes to a host, hop by hop.
• WHOIS: find out who registered a domain, when it was registered and when it expires.
• SSL Check: inspect a website's security certificate, issuer, expiry date and TLS version.
• WiFi: view your WiFi connection details and signal information.
• IP Information: see your public IP address, provider and approximate location.
• Home screen widget: keep your public IP and online status one glance away.

DNS AND APP CONTROL (OPTIONAL, ON YOUR DEVICE)

• Gaming DNS: send your device's DNS lookups through the provider you choose (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, Control D and more, or your own), or let WireCraft pick the fastest one. It speeds up lookups; it does not lower your ping once a match is running.
• Block apps: cut internet access for the games or apps you select.
• Allow apps: let only the apps you select use the internet.

This feature uses Android's VPN service to work on your device. It is not a VPN to another server: your IP address and location do not change, and WireCraft does not collect or send the sites you visit. You can turn it off at any time.

• Internet and network state: required for all network features
• WiFi state: to show your connection details
• VPN service and foreground service: used only while the VPN or DNS and app control is on

• Location (optional): Android requires it to read the WiFi network name (SSID). It is used only for WiFi features.
