Holy Ad and micro transaction lollapalooza. You can't select your build out on levels. You choose from 1 of 3 pieces they give you each round. You can hit refresh, using in-game currency, until you get useful pieces. If you are free to play, you basically advance when you luck out on useful items or watch a ton of Ads. It is not a fun game.

This tower defense game is amazing, however, it has its flaws. The game starts off strong and pretty fair, but the later levels become pretty rigged, (so you have to spend money). The bosses, especially "sky lord" are extremely OP. The cards during levels are also annoying especially when you refresh, only to keep getting the same three cards. Then you have to pay to refresh again. Why only have one throughout the whole game? At least make it so it won't pick the same three again.

Solid game over all and is a great pass time. My issues are the boss levels are virtually impossible to win. Since the cards to get turrets are randomized you can get multiple turns back to back of no turret options. Since this is a defense game that's a huge flaw. Second is the Garrison. It's a great way to stave off attackers. However ANYTHING with range kills them so much easier. And bosses can kill hoards of Garrison in one swing making them worthless on bosses.
