Wisemonie is an envelope budgeting app that turns your budget into the account you spend from.

Instead of one wallet balance shared with every temptation, your income is split into named envelopes; Transport, Food, Rent, Family, Savings, and any category you define. Each envelope releases money on a schedule you set: daily, weekly, custom days, monthly, or on-demand with a friction gate.

You don't check your budget. You spend from it.

KEY FEATURES

Wallet on regulated bank rails
Every Wisemonie account comes with a fundable account number. Money sits with our partner bank, Rubies MFB. Transfer in from any Nigerian bank.

Custom budget durations
Build a budget for 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, or any custom date up to 2 years. The app auto-calculates every release amount from your inputs.

Six release rule types


1. Daily: amount divides evenly across every day
2. Weekly: amount divides across the weeks of the budget
3. Custom days: pick specific days (e.g. Mondays and Fridays)
4. Monthly: for recurring monthly obligations
5. Sweep to Savings: allocation moves into a Savings Pot instead of being spendable
6. Emergency: no schedule, spendable anytime — but requires a written reason


Sealed budgets:
Once you seal a budget, its envelopes cannot be casually raided. Structure replaces willpower. If something real happens, the Emergency envelope opens with a reason gate.

Sweep-back at cycle end:
When a budget's duration ends, any unspent envelope balances sweep back to your wallet automatically. Nothing is lost. Nothing is trapped.

Savings Pots:
Create dedicated savings pots for goals like rent, school fees, or a family target. Envelopes can sweep money directly into pots on schedule.

Push notifications on every release:
You'll know the moment a release fires. Transport at 7am. Offering on Sunday. Family on Saturday. On time, every time.
