WIT BROWSER brings web browsing, video detection, playback, downloads and your device video library together in one Android app.
BROWSE AND ORGANIZE
• Manage multiple tabs with previews and back/forward navigation.
• Restore saved tabs, navigation history and scroll positions when reopening the app. Restoration depends on the page state.
• Search bookmarks and browsing history; remove individual entries or clear the list.
• Open links shared from other apps, copy addresses and share pages.
• Set your home page, use desktop mode per tab and choose Korean or English.
CONTROL YOUR BROWSING
• Block ad and tracking requests, pop-ups and ad redirects; update filter lists.
• Hide unwanted elements with the element picker, remove obstructing overlays and manage site-specific filters.
• Adjust image, media and browser compatibility for individual sites, with text selection and copying options.
• Use Safe Browsing and strict security options for HTTPS-first navigation and third-party cookie restrictions.
• Use encrypted DNS (DoH) and automatic connection compatibility. These features do not provide a VPN or change your public IP address.
DETECT AND PLAY WEB VIDEOS
• Detect video information supplied through page elements, frames and network requests.
• View available quality, format, size and duration information, refresh the list and scan again.
• Filter suspected ads and outdated candidates to help select the intended video.
• Play supported video files, HLS and DASH streams in the app player.
• See progress while a page prepares its video, then continue to playback when ready. You can cancel the wait.
• Use full-screen web playback on supported pages.
DOWNLOAD AND SAVE
• Save supported videos and regular files, track progress and view completion notifications.
• Process supported HLS/DASH streams and separate video/audio tracks.
• Cancel or retry downloads, see server cooldown guidance and resume regular files when the server supports it.
• Open completed videos for offline playback.
• Start MSE/BLOB capture manually to save portions actually played after capture begins. It does not guarantee a complete video download.
PLAYER CONTROLS
• Adjust playback speed, aspect ratio, rotation and orientation; use picture-in-picture (PiP).
• Double-tap to seek, swipe vertically for brightness or volume, and hold for temporary 2x speed.
• Lock touch controls and use previous/next or shuffle in a playlist.
• Controls keep a consistent size across video dimensions and account for the system navigation bar.
• The navigation bar is shown by default. Configure control auto-hide and the dark control background separately.
SUBTITLES
• Select embedded subtitles or attach an external file.
• Automatically find matching subtitle filenames in locations you have granted access to.
• Use SRT, VTT, ASS, SSA and SMI/SAMI subtitles.
• Adjust timing per video and customize text size, color, boldness, outline, shadow, background and vertical position.
• Preview changes, reset settings or turn subtitles off.
YOUR VIDEOS AND PRIVACY
• Browse permitted device videos with thumbnails; sort by newest, name or duration.
• Play library videos in sequence or shuffle, and delete selected videos.
• Add, edit and remove accounts in an encrypted local password vault. Unlock it to fill a matching site.
• Approve account-saving prompts on supported login pages.
• Clear browsing data such as cookies, cache and site data.
• Inspect recent video request failures on your device without addresses, titles, cookie values or tokens. Records are not sent automatically.
• Access in-app help and the privacy policy.
Playback and saving depend on site policies, login state, server responses and device format support. Video extraction or saving is not guaranteed for every site. WIT BROWSER does not remove DRM or other content protection.
