I used to use this app a while back and I enjoyed it 10x more when it was more simplistic than the weird stuff they're doing with the app now. I really don't need a bubble in the top left of my screen that I can't get rid of to use my phone. If I wanted to know how long I was using an app I'd look for it without needing the assistance of a pop-up. it's just annoying and it gets in the way of using certain apps without waiting for it to dissappear.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback. You can turn the timer bubble off in Settings -> Autofocus -> Autofocus overlay. We're working on improving this functionality and making it smarter. Stay tuned, Team Opal.

This app would be great if it would stop recategorizing my apps. I use YouTube for work and keep removing it from the "distracting" apps/adding it to the "always allowed" and Opal keeps putting it back into the distracting bin. Wth guys. Fix your glitch. Edit: I use Amazon like once month, I just opened Amazon to order some stuff for my house and there's an unwanted timer that I can't X out - blocking the search bar. I'm going to try a different app because Opal is a bit annoying.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback. We're already working on a fix for the app categories bug that you mentioned. It should be fixed in one of the following releases. As for the timer, you can turn it off in Settings -> Autofocus-> Autofocus overlay. Hope it will improve your experience, Team Opal.

This app is amazing! I used it all the time, but I do have a big issue with the update. It doesn't let you individually choose a time for the clock blocker anymore like it used to. For me, It was effective when I put a single minute to keep an app blocked after using up the time because I know it's time to put my phone down and its just a system that works best for me. but I can't do that anymore because it only let's you choose 15 minutes and up, not a customizable time suited best for the user

Thank you for your thorough feedback. It really helps improving Opal on a daily basis. You should be able to select the precise duration of your breaks length or timer session. Please reach out to support@opal.so so with screenshots of your issue so we can help you sort this out. Best, team Opal
