SkyCam is not a camera filter and not a color-picker. It is a sky-masking artwork engine.
Once a day you point your phone at the real sky and press the shutter on a 3D toy camera. SkyCam names the exact colour you caught — Clear Sky, Golden Sky, Pink Sunset — and then does the thing that makes it different: it drops your real sky into 109 hand-illustrated cut-out scenes where the sky area has been left completely empty. An airplane window. A cathedral rose window. A puddle after the rain. A whale swimming through nothing at all. Your sky becomes the missing piece.
WHAT MAKES SKYCAM DIFFERENT
• 109 hand-drawn cut-out artworks, each with a genuinely transparent sky region. Your photograph shows through the hole in the picture — it is never pasted on top.
• A 30-minute develop timer. Every capture starts blurred behind a milky emulsion and clears in real time over thirty minutes, like a Polaroid you have to be patient with.
• A procedural 3D toy camera that flies in, docks in the middle of the screen and hands off to the live preview, with a knurled dial you physically turn to zoom.
• A draggable bubble map of every sky you have ever met, with locked slots waiting for the ones you have not.
ONE SKY A DAY
The whole app is built around one small habit: look up, once. The first capture of each day sets your streak and earns gems. Extra captures are welcome and still join your collection — SkyCam never locks you out for being enthusiastic.
WHAT YOU COLLECT
Every capture is stored with the colour it caught, the name of that colour and the moment you took it. Skies you have found appear as full-colour bubbles on the collection map; skies you have not are black circles with a question mark. Tap one and the app tells you what it is waiting for.
YOUR CAMERA, YOUR COLOURS
Trade gems for camera skins in the shop and the 3D camera actually changes — purple, orange, red, green, pink or blue — in the fly-in animation, on the home screen and in your hand while you shoot.
PRIVACY
Your photos stay on your device. SkyCam has no account, no login, no feed and no upload. Nothing you capture is ever sent anywhere.
Korean and English are both fully supported, and you can switch between them inside the app at any time.
Look up. It takes thirty seconds.
