App works very well on my android. Always play it when on any WiFi and at home when going to bed. I am an 80's Alternative (New Wave) rock person and can play them all day long. I used to miss them times and now this just takes me back. People say stop living in the past but it is so much better than the Now! Anyone into 80's Alternative Rock should have this app. Unfortunately no sleep function. I would play it from iHeart radio to get the sleep timer or just use any other timer.

This is a great app! You can stream radio from WLIR/WDRE/WDARE with it. The music stream will also work, when you minimize the app, and turn off your smartphone screen. Best of all the stream is of some of the best new wave and alternative music of the 80s and 90s, and the app is completely free. I highly recommend, you download and enjoy this app.

As a former WLIR/WDRE listener from the early 80's forward, this app fills a huge gap in my life!! It seems to be a nice blend of the original 80's New Wave tunes (not necessarily the HITS from the 80's) including many Screamers of the Week, and Larry the Duck!!) combined with solid, newer Alternative (Panic at the Disco, etc...) songs....with minimal ads....so fun!!!! If you are/were part of the WLIR (East Coast), KTCL (Colorado) or KROQ (West Coast) crowd you NEED to try this app!!!
