World Tracking Studio turns your Android phone into an offline camera tracker made for 3D artists.
Film a shot by hand and the app records exactly how the camera moved through the space, frame by frame. Bring that motion into your 3D scene and your virtual camera moves with the weight, sway and rhythm of a real camera operator, the kind of realism that is hard to keyframe by hand.
Fully offline
• Capture, review and export all happen on your phone.
• Your takes stay on your device until you decide where they go.
Made for Blender, open to any USD pipeline
• Blender add-on: pair once with a QR code and send takes over your local Wi-Fi. The add-on builds the animated camera, the reference geometry and the background video for you.
• USD export: package any take as a USDA file plus its video in a ZIP, then share or save it and import it into Blender or another USD-compatible 3D application.
Your footage, ready for VFX
Every take keeps the clean video your camera recorded. If your phone has a good camera, that footage works as a background plate: add 3D characters, props, set extensions and effects to your own shots, with a virtual camera that already matches the real one. The rest is up to your creativity.
How it works
1. Sweep the phone over the floor until the surface locks.
2. Press and hold to place the reference that defines your scene origin.
3. Optionally place extra objects to mark tables, walls or where your 3D elements will stand.
4. Record your shot.
5. Review the take, align the grid, and send it to Blender or export it as USD.
Good to know
• Requires a device that supports Google Play Services for AR (ARCore).
• Video resolution and frame rate depend on what your phone provides for AR tracking, typically up to 1080p.
• Tracking works best in well-lit spaces with visible texture; blank walls and dark rooms are harder to track.
• The Blender add-on requires Blender 4.2 or newer.
Create motion tracking quickly and easily, then export it to Blender or via USD.
