About this app

Posto Segreto is a space for encounters and delicate resistance. It is located in the Sicilian countryside, halfway between Trapani and Palermo, surrounded by vineyards and land devoted to agriculture, a 30 minute walk from the sea. Since 2019 we have offered hospitality and arranged various activities throughout the year and in accordance with the seasons, including itineraries, workshops, events and other public events. The space and its use adapt to the different seasons. The facility consists of a common space on the ground floor with a kitchen, work tables, a bookshelf, a living room with a projection screen, and a bathroom with a shower. There is a mezzanine provided with two single beds or a double bed, depending on the residents’ needs. An adjoining veranda overlooks the beautiful Castellammare Gulf. A space in the back of the building has been converted into a workshop and storage where it is possible to work with our tools and materials. A large courtyard, with an additional open-air kitchen and tables, allows residents to eat in the shade of our signature mulberry tree whose hammocks provide a respite where you can relax and listen to the sounds of the wind and nature. The hacienda is nestled between vineyards and almond trees and in the vicinity of our vegetable garden, where we always grow seasonal products and set up the pitches for the tents of our summertime visitors. Hidden amongst the vines you will find our meditation platform, with a view to the sea, where it is possible to practice your yoga and other physical activities. For those arriving with their own cars we also have a parking area at the entrance to the property.
