An alternative 311 app for the residents of San Francisco. Solve SF is the easiest way to submit street cleaning, graffiti, illegal parking, damaged public property, tree issues, and other types of reports to the San Francisco 311 service.


To submit a request just take a photo and click submit. AI runs in the cloud to help analyze, describe, and categorize your reports - so you don't have to.


You can view your recently submitted requests within the app or on the official 311 service.


This is an independent app. This app has the necessary approval to use the San Francisco 311 API to submit requests to the San Francisco 311 service, but it is not affiliated with the official SF 311 app or the City of San Francisco government. Any other government related information like government official names, emails, and phone numbers are provided in the app for convenience and do not represent and endorsement of the app. All information has been collected from public data at sf.gov.

why restrict to exactly one photo in a report? sf311 has a 3 photo limit

I've tried it I'm not too big on it. it's just a clearing house and they send the information to the department they think fits the situation. you can give it a try see what time it is I'm not that big on it it's more of just a complaint mechanism for yourself the actual results are to be revealed or not revealed, frankly it's not worth my time.

This app is a stellar improvement over the official SF 311 app. It makes reporting as easy as snapping a photo and choosing what kind of problem you're reporting. Then it keeps track of your reports and notifies you when there is a resolution. I can reliably report in 15s what used to take 1-2m. Huge win for government accountability!
