About this app

Jantri is a hand-crafted prayer-times almanac for, Pakistan — a quiet, offline companion for your daily salah. Built around the traditional Jantri calendar, it brings the whole year of prayer times into your pocket together with a Qibla compass and the complete Quran.

Everything works without an internet connection. No ads, no tracking, no sign-up — just the times, the direction, and the words.

WHAT IS INSIDE

- Daily prayer times for Fajr, Ishraq, Zawal, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha — with a live countdown to the next prayer that updates every second.

- The full Jantri table — all 12 months, day by day, exactly as the printed Jantri lists them. Tap any month to flip through the whole year.

- Iftar and Sehri reminders front and centre during Ramadan, derived from sunset and Subh Sadiq.

- Hijri date alongside the Gregorian date, in proper Arabic numerals.

- Qibla compass — point your phone, the gold needle points to the Kaaba. The face rotates with you so North is always true world-north on screen.

- The complete Quran — all 114 surahs with their Arabic name, English name, meaning, verse count, and Meccan or Medinan tag. Tap any surah to read its verses in beautiful Amiri Arabic with the verse-end ornament and the English Saheeh translation underneath.

- Search across surahs by name in English, Arabic or meaning.

- Light mode, dark mode, or follow your system setting — both palettes designed around the same warm gold accent that runs through the whole app.

PRIVACY

- 100 percent offline. The app makes no network calls of its own.

- No accounts, no logins, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK.

- No location services. The compass uses your device magnetometer locally; your coordinates (27.9 N 68.6 E) are baked into the app itself, so the app never asks you where you are.

- The only thing stored on your device is your theme preference.

WHO THIS IS FOR

- The Muslim community — every time in the app reflects the times of their own city, not a generic IP-based estimate.

- Family members and the diaspora who want to pray on the same schedule as their relatives back home.

- Anyone who prefers a calm, no-noise prayer app: no daily push messages, no leaderboards, no streaks, no upsells.
