I bought this trap a few years ago. I couldn't get it to connect to wifi. Still can't. I'd get aggravated and put it back in the box. I've tried off and on. Different routers, different internet services. Still no luck. Tried several times today. Yes it's set to 2.4. Yes it's close to the router. Yes it has awesome signal. Any ideas Victor? I'm listening.

Like other people are reporting the app constantly alerts to 24 hours offline. So if you have 7 traps, like me, that's 7 notifications a day that the trap is offline, when it's not. Checking in the app shows it's connecting every day. It looks like this started from a new update a month or so ago. It also appears it just needs an extra few minutes. The devices check in every 24-25 hours so after the notification it checks in within the hour. Fix it, I'll fix the star rating.

I purchased 2 traps over 2 years ago. The traps work flawlessly, 14 verified kills with #1, And 21 verified kills with the other (I live in the country surrounded by fields). The app is complete garbage. Notifications are spotty, initial connections after Wifi router changes are problematic as stated in other reviews. It's very exciting when the app works and notifies me to empty my trap! In the cases that it doesn't, the work around is to go by the smell of rotting mouse corpse.
