like other have said, try to set it up and it won't connect to the app. it will connect to my phone just fine but when you go back to setting it up in the app the power light will blink red then the wifi connection shuts off. I was told by Victor that they no longer support the wifi portion of the trap, the whole reason we bought was for the wifi notifications. pretty disappointed

Like other people are reporting the app constantly alerts to 24 hours offline. So if you have 7 traps, like me, that's 7 notifications a day that the trap is offline, when it's not. Checking in the app shows it's connecting every day. It looks like this started from a new update a month or so ago. It also appears it just needs an extra few minutes. The devices check in every 24-25 hours so after the notification it checks in within the hour. Fix it, I'll fix the star rating.

I purchased 2 traps over 2 years ago. The traps work flawlessly, 14 verified kills with #1, And 21 verified kills with the other (I live in the country surrounded by fields). The app is complete garbage. Notifications are spotty, initial connections after Wifi router changes are problematic as stated in other reviews. It's very exciting when the app works and notifies me to empty my trap! In the cases that it doesn't, the work around is to go by the smell of rotting mouse corpse.
