About this game

WordLink is a classic single-player card game. The goal is to move all 52 cards to the foundation piles, sorted by suit in ascending order.

## Layout

- **7 Tableau Piles**: 7 columns from left to right. Column 1 has 1 card, column 2 has 2 cards... column 7 has 7 cards — 28 cards total in the tableau. Only the top card of each column is face up; the rest are face down.
- **Foundation (Top-Left)**: 4 empty slots for collecting cards by suit, in ascending order from Ace (lowest) to King (highest).
- **Stock Pile**: The remaining 24 cards are placed in the stock pile. Tap the stock to draw cards.

## Objective

Build four piles in the foundation area (top-left), each containing only one suit, arranged in ascending order from Ace to King. Collect all 52 cards to win.

## Basic Rules

### 1. Foundation Rules
- Cards must be placed in the foundation by **same suit**, in **ascending order from Ace to King**.
- Ace is the lowest card, King is the highest. Each foundation pile starts with an Ace and ends with a King.

### 2. Tableau Movement Rules
- Cards in the tableau must be arranged in **descending order** (from King down to Ace).
- Card colors must **alternate between red and black** (Hearts/Diamonds are red; Spades/Clubs are black).
- Example: A black King can have a red Queen placed on it, which can then have a black Jack placed on it, and so on.

### 3. Drawing Cards
- Tap the stock pile to draw cards. You can choose to draw **1 card** or **3 cards** at a time in the settings.
- When all cards in the stock have been drawn, tap the stock again to restart the cycle. The number of cycles is unlimited.

### 4. Flipping Cards
- When the top face-up card of a tableau column is removed, the face-down card underneath is automatically flipped face-up.

### 5. Empty Spaces
- Only a **King** (or a sequence beginning with a King) can be placed into an empty tableau column.

### 6. Auto-Move
- Tap a card in the stock or tableau to automatically move it to the best possible location. If no legal move exists, nothing happens.

### 7. Moving Sequences
- Tap the topmost card of a sequence to move the entire sequence between tableau columns (must follow alternating colors and descending order rules).

## Game Modes

| **Random Deal** | Randomly shuffled deck each game; unlimited replays |
| **Winning Deal** | Randomly selected from guaranteed winnable deals |
| **Vegas** | Randomly selected from preset Vegas deals with a scoring system |
| **Daily Challenge** | A new challenge every day, randomly selected from winnable deals |

## Scoring

- **Normal Mode**:
- Move card to foundation: +10 points
- Remove card from foundation: -20 points
- Flip / Move a card: +5 points
- Time penalty: -5 points per minute elapsed
- Using auto-hint: -5 points

- **Vegas Mode**:
- +5 points for each card moved to foundation, accumulated as total earnings

## Common Actions

- **Undo**: Go back to the previous move. Starts with 2 free uses; more can be earned by watching ads.
- **Hint**: Tap the hint button to highlight a movable card. Hints can be earned by watching ads.
- **Replay**: Restart the current deal from the beginning.

## Win Condition

Collect all 52 cards into the 4 foundation piles (one for each suit). All cards must be arranged in ascending order from Ace to King within their respective suits.
