About this app

WorkDialer is a phone dialer for people who get their work over the phone: electricians, plumbers and heating engineers, air-con installers, cleaners, gardeners – any tradesperson who works on the road. Turn a call into a job in your own calendar.

CALLS AND JOBS
• A complete dialer: keypad with T9 name search, colour-marked call log, contacts and its own call screen.
• When the phone rings, you see whether you already have a job with this customer and what happened last time.
• After a call, a few taps turn it into a job in your calendar – or write a memo that can become a job later.
• For a new job, pick the number from your recent calls or your contacts.
• Your own job types with names and durations.
• The Today tab shows the day's jobs with Call and Go buttons.
• Missed call: text back or call back with one tap.
• Find a free slot, and see when two jobs clash. (PRO)
• Job from a message: paste the customer's text – the app finds the number and the day, and you tap the name and the address. (PRO)
• Unlimited text templates – you always press send yourself. (PRO)
• Close the job on site: what was done and what was used.
• Dictation in almost every field – handy with gloves on.

AFTER THE JOB
• Van stock: when you close a job, the app deducts what you used, and each item shows where it went. Light 10, PRO 50, MAX 500 items.
• Full stock: main warehouse, code scanner, goods in, stock count and order list. (MAX)
• Job sheet: a signed, numbered PDF from the finished job. (MAX)
• Jobs due: the Today tab shows which customers are due for maintenance again. (MAX)
• Site survey with floor plan: dots on the drawing, and the quantities for your quote are ready. (MAX)
• On the Tools tab you switch on only what you use.

COMFORT
• Speed dial, number blocking, flashing light when it rings.

YOUR DATA
No account, no server of ours. Your jobs stay in your own calendar. Backups stay on your phone. We never see your calls, contacts or jobs.

PERMISSIONS
WorkDialer is a dialer, so it asks for access to calls, call log, contacts and calendar. It uses each one only for what you see on screen.

PRICE
• Every feature for 14 days, with no card and no sign-up.
• Light – stays free: 2 jobs and 2 closings a day, 10 memos a day, yesterday, today and tomorrow, 1 text template.
• PRO – yearly subscription: unlimited jobs and memos, 2 weeks ahead and 3 months back, the features marked (PRO).
• MAX – yearly subscription: everything in PRO, plus the features marked (MAX).

What’s new

Safer trial period: the app now checks in with our server using an anonymous signal. Your name, phone number, customers, jobs and notes are never sent. Works offline too. Minor fixes.
