the device and the app are an incredible innovation. yeah, it's duolingo for kids,but so much more. it promotes discovery, rewards curiosity, and helps me keep my kids connected to my culture and language in ways that I couldn't do (without a lot more time and education). one of the few legitimate great utilizations of the fusion of AI and programming.

its a great learning tool. its pretty glitchy at times. my son gets really frustrated when he says words correctly and it thinks he didnt. ill even help by saying the word to try and make it move on and still it wont work so ill just exit it and try again with something different. Also it could ask to hear the word red, for example, and i can say ball and itll think thats correct.... like i said, glitchy. if not for that it would be amazing. its pretty pricey for it to be as glitchy as it is.

I purchased the DEX camera expecting to use its 4G connectivity, but the subscription requirement was not clearly disclosed during checkout. After receiving the device, I found out that using the 4G feature requires an additional $9 per month. This recurring fee is a significant cost and should have been stated upfront. The lack of transparency was disappointing and made me feel misled. Buyers should be aware that 4G service is not included with the purchase.
