Buraco is Brazil's classic partnership card game — a rummy-style game for two teams — with cards big enough to read without leaning in.

You play with an AI partner against two AI opponents: four players, two teams, two decks and four jokers. Eleven cards each and two mortos waiting face down. Build sequences in the same suit, close your canastras, take your morto, and bater (go out) before the other side does. First team to 3000 points wins the match.

WHY THIS ONE

Big cards, big text
Ranks and suits are drawn large and high-contrast. In Settings you can raise the cards and the text to Large or Extra Large, slow the game down, and pick one of four card backs. Nothing on screen is smaller than it needs to be.

Plays offline
No internet, no account, no sign-in. On a plane, in a waiting room, anywhere at all. The game saves itself after every single move, so a phone call never costs you a hand.

The real rules (Buraco Aberto)
Sequences of three or more cards in the same suit. No sets — this is Buraco, not Canasta. One wild per sequence, a joker or a 2. A 2 of the suit laid in its own place (A-2-3) counts as a natural card, so the sequence stays limpa. The ace works at both ends, A-2-3 and Q-K-A. There is no minimum to open.

The pile stays open
Every card in the discard pile lies face up on the table, and you can take the whole pile whenever you like — no pair needed, no conditions, no waiting. Tap the pile to see all of it at once.

Scoring, line by line
Canastra limpa 200, canastra suja 100, bater 100, a morto you never took minus 100. Every round is added up for you and shown item by item.

Nothing is rigged
Each deal comes from a seed you can read yourself on the Fair Play screen, along with a move-by-move record of the round. The AI is given only what you can see: it knows how many cards the others hold, never which ones.

IF YOU ARE LEARNING

Tap a card and only the moves that card can really make appear, so an illegal play is not possible. If a card cannot go down, the game tells you why. Stuck? Tap Hint and your partner picks a play for you. Watch & Learn lets you follow four AI players without playing a card, and the How to Play screen covers the table, the turn, the wild cards and bater in four short pages.

Three difficulty levels. Weekly and monthly online rankings for each level — a nickname is the only thing you ever give, no account and no e-mail. A scorecard that keeps your wins, streaks, canastras limpas and sujas, mortos and baters. Ten languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Free to play. No chips, no credits to buy, no betting, no timer rushing your turn. Ads appear only between rounds — never during a hand, and never as a banner across the table.

If you already play rummy, canastra, or burraco the Italian way, most of this will feel familiar. If you have never played, the game will teach you.
