The Insect Encyclopedia is a learning app for children and families to examine insects, record what they have learned, and keep a record of their observations.
■ Find 300 Insect Species

Guess the insect based on its photos and characteristics. You can select the number and range of questions and review incorrect answers.
■ Card Book and Favorites
Collect the insects you have learned about on cards and look them up again using Favorites.
■ Observation Log and Appearance Comparison
Record observation dates and notes, and compare the appearances of two insects side by side.
■ Learning Records Saved to Device
You can use the app without registration, and your learning and observation records are saved to your device. You can back up and restore as a JSON file in Settings.
The app contains banner ads. Detailed information regarding the size and season of some observed species is currently being prepared. Please use this as a reference to aid in insect identification and learning.
