It's an okay app. I've met a really cool person on it, but I'm noticing there are A LOT of fake profiles. There's someone who sent me a friend request and then a different profile popped up with the same pictures, just a different name. The app has a really cool concept, but there needs to be some kind of way to get better control of the bots and scammers because they take the fun out of the app.

soooo many fake people. idk if im just unlucky but the amount of people who just won't talk despite friending me but when they do they ask the same set of questions and it ends after 4 texts back and forth. scammers seem to be a problem too. plus the app seems broken, the chat will send the same message a million times but if I close and open it again it'll go to normal. it also has a hard time telling me when someone says something so I end up missing their text.

Moji is flooded with fake profiles, even ones marked “verified.” The badge means nothing when users have inconsistent names, ages, locations, and clearly scripted/AI-style replies (to include AI generated images). Social media links aren’t verified either, so anyone can paste misleading URLs for phishing. On top of that, ads constantly freeze, and I’ve had to uninstall/reinstall to fix it. Moji needs real moderation and stability.
