About this app

Turn your phone into a practical close-up inspection tool for circuit boards, chip pins, solder joints, printed markings and small objects.

EXTERNAL MACRO LENS SUPPORT
Use a compatible clip-on or mounted macro lens with your phone camera to inspect objects at close range. A macro attachment can also help supported telephoto cameras focus on nearby objects. Accessories are not included; alignment, working distance and compatibility depend on your lens and phone.

15-FRAME STILL IMAGE FUSION
Capture a burst of 15 frames by default and combine suitable frames into a single still image on your device. Choose 9, 15 or 20 frames in settings, with an optional focus-stack mode. Hold your phone and subject steady during capture. The app rejects unreliable frames and may retain the best single frame when fusion is unsuitable. Processing cannot recover detail lost to optical blur.

AUTOFOCUS AND AUTOMATIC CAMERA SELECTION
Continuous autofocus and system automatic camera selection help find an appropriate available camera for the zoom level and focusing distance. Tap to focus and use manual focus or exposure controls when supported. Available cameras and behavior depend on the phone manufacturer and Android camera capabilities.

INSPECT, FREEZE AND SAVE
- Magnify the live camera view, freeze a preview and inspect fine details.
- Use inspection overlays, lighting controls and detail filters.
- Save enhanced still images locally, review them in the gallery and share selected images through Android.
- Capture DNG sensor images on cameras that support RAW capture.
- Open the built-in help and illustrated online guide from settings.

IMPORTANT HARDWARE INFORMATION
10X optical magnification requires a phone with a suitable physical telephoto camera that Android makes available to the app. A displayed zoom value does not prove that a 10X optical camera is active. Other devices may use digital zoom or a different camera, especially at close focusing distances. A compatible external macro lens may be needed for telephoto close-ups. This app does not turn every phone into a calibrated microscope.

FREE CORE TOOLS, OPTIONAL AD REMOVAL
Core inspection and capture tools are free and do not require an app account. The free edition contains banner advertising. An optional one-time Google Play purchase removes ads; it is not a subscription. Use the same Google Play account to restore an existing purchase.

Camera frames and captured images are processed on your device. Images are not automatically uploaded to a developer photo service. Advertising, Google Play purchases and voluntary support requests involve online services as described in the privacy policy.
