Hide the license plate in your car photos automatically. NumberEraser finds the number plate and covers it with a plate you choose, so the picture still looks like a normal car photo - no blur, no mosaic.
Use it before you post your car on social media, list a car or parts for sale, or share photos from a car meet.
Detection, editing and compositing run on your device. Your photos are not uploaded to a server.

■ Automatic license plate detection
An on-device model detects each license plate and estimates its four corners. The replacement follows the angle of the original plate, and the photo is also checked in sections so small plates on cars in the background are easier to find. Choose a detection level - strict, standard or lenient - to balance false detections against missed plates. If a plate is missed, add a frame and adjust it by hand.

■ Why not just blur it?
A blur or mosaic makes it obvious that something was hidden. NumberEraser covers the plate with a plain or text plate instead, so the car photo keeps its look. The "Auto" plate fills in with the color of the plate in the photo, so it blends in with the car.

■ Replacement plates you can choose or design
Start from samples in the plate colors used in your region, or create your own: a solid color, a plate with text such as PRIVACY, or an imported image. Pick colors from a palette, a color picker, or with an eyedropper on the photo. Choose the border color and width and one of five fonts.

■ Blend into the photo
For plates other than Auto, a slider pulls the replacement toward the color of the plate in the photo, so it is less likely to stand out in a dark parking lot, evening light or shade.

■ Plate shapes by region
Plate previews follow the proportions used in Japan; North America; Europe, the UK and Korea; China; and Australia and New Zealand, and can be switched at any time.

■ Privacy
- License plate detection and compositing run on your device; your photos themselves are not sent to a server
- Saved images do not carry over the original photo's EXIF metadata, including location
- Your original photo is left unchanged; the edited photo is saved as a new image
- The app is free and shows ads
