* A periodic internet connection is required to sync; the application can be used offline

* An Xactware Cloud account

Xactimate Mobile for Android has been tested on a number of devices. For the best application performance, Xactware recommends the following Android devices:

3. Google Pixel C (no GPS support)

I only use this for sketching on site. Everything else I do in the desktop app. The biggest problem that they need to fix is switching between devices. Logging in on one device, logs you out on another. That would be totally fine except that when you go to log back in on the PC after having been logged in on another PC or on the Android it takes half an hour bc the software keeps freezing. Tested this on multiple machines and phones. Something about the login system is screwy. Time is money.

Overall, this app is great and easy to use. The one thing that I would like to see improved is the photo import from my Samsung phone. The phone takes really large photos and has no way to compress the file size of said photos. It would be amazing if xactimate would compress the files to a more manageable size went importing.

Been using since about 93. Only the best for this cowboy. This can teach you and just about anybody. Estimate it as you'd build or repair it. The new XactRestore even let's more people in the realm of simplicity. its not a software, think about it as a system
