About this app

As a lot of phones have AMOLED display whenever a desired notification comes the app brings in a black screen with edge lighting.

To use it:
1. Disable any battery optimisation for the app.
2. Give notification access permission.
3 Select apps you want notifications for, by choosing a color

For MIUI 11 devices make sure that AutoStart is enabled in App Info. Also check "Show on lock screen" permission in other settings.

Exactly the app i was looking for. Purchased the full version, worth it. However i cannot give 5 starts since ive encountered a deal breaking bug. When i receive a notification i cannot unlock the screen or screen wont light up for incoming calls. When that happened only way can unlock the screen is to wait up for the edge light to light up for the notification and unlock the phone (double tap or power button). I really hope this would get fixed, i would like to continue using this app

So far so good. Easy to set up. Would like to be able to choose different colors for my contacts and not just for the apps. Edit: After a few months I think I'm giving up on this app. Every few days the notifications just stop working and I have to restart my phone. It's too bad because the lighting options are great.

Another app that doesn't work. After setting up the app then using the 'test' function , the edge display does light up, but it's permanent & cannot use the phone. I couldn't exit from it & had to restart the phone. Not good at all. App needs a lot more work.
