Software and drone worked out of the box. The manuals are very poorly translated into English, so there's some experimentation you'll need to do to figure out the symbology. The cameras actually work pretty well, and the controls are responsive. The video latency to your phone leaves quite a bit to be desired, but what do you expect from a $30 drone.

The s99 works well but it's slower then the s96 drone. The app works, first connect to the wifi network (turn on the drone first). MOST importantly your phone will auto disconnect since it has no internet. You need to check the box that says sont ask again. (in your android settings / network/ wifi). My issue is I can only take pics. If I try to record video it says please review and agree the privacy policy and user instruction first. I've looked everywhere for these.

For those who can't connect to wifi.. Scroll threw and find the drone instead of your home wifi and connect to that. It's how I got mine to connect because I was having the same problem connecting. The instructions could have been more clear on this also. With that said I've only had time for one flight after figuring that out. Hopefully it'll be a cool toy to learn on so I don't damage a more advanced drone when I get one.
