About this app

The Magic the Gathering to Dungeons & Dragons converter is an app that can easily convert a Magic card into a 5e D&D Monster’s sheet - no more than a click is needed!

Note that the converter, for obvious reasons, can only convert CREATURE cards into D&D monsters.

The projects started as a joke but ends up being a useful tool for both Magic and D&D fans, expecially for the dungeon masters. With this tool a card of your collection can turn into a challenging creature for your party – with no more effort that just a click!

I'm in no ways affiliated to Wizards of the Coast. I have no rights neither on the Magic the Gathering cards, text and arts (the artist's name is reported at the bottom of each monster image to give credits to its own author), nor on the Dungeons & Dragons brand. This software was designed only to create a funny tool for both Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons fans, but I have no rights on the original products that are owned by the Wizard of the Coast company.

The software make use of the Scryfall tools to access their card database via HTML, but the Scryfall company is not involved in any way in the project. In one word: As part of the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy, I used their card data and image database for creating an additional Magic software.

So far so good for me. There's always going to be some things wrong with things that do this en masse, but that ultimately isn't what is preventing me from the full five stars. What I'd love to see are the vehicles to be added (they're not creatures, but their feature is that they become "creatures" while piloted) and to have any stat block be downloadable (even if minus the pictures for copyright reasons) so I'm not having to go back and forth via searching when running encounters

Just found this, and I love it! I was struggling with converting Eldrazi for a Ravnica game I want to run! A few issues I noticed, though: If you're browsing a set list, click on a card, and then go back to the list, it takes you all the way back to the top. The set lists are in partial alphabetical order - it'll have a bunch of cards in order, A-Z, and then start over again with all new cards. For some cards that transform, searching for either form will only return one side of the card.

Thanks! As regards the double face cards I've plan to implement a transform button into the monster screen, to see both faces, and have unique abilities for creatures that can transform from side to side.

Really good conversion and simple ui and ux that dose not make may head hurt however if you manage to add other cards such as lands as terrain/location, spells as spells, artifacts as equipment and so on... and add a feature in the app to save multiple cards as bookmark folder so that I don't have to go back and forth this becomes legendary.
