Ratings and reviews

Works well for what I need it to do. kiddo calls or texts when he leaves school and arrives at his after-school location. Nice to have when he's outside playing in the neighborhood and I need him to come home. GPS is only roughly accurate, so don't expect any location alerts to be precise. I've tried several family apps and GPS has always been vague and approximate at best, so I wasn't counting on this one being great. Happy with the watch overall.

Constantly complains about 'nearby devices' permissions. The application will not play audio messages without this permission, which is completely unnecessary. Video calls work fine: except for a popup message complaining that it doesn't have 'nearby devices' permission. To be perfectly clear: the only issue with video calls is the error message. The call works fine without the 'nearby devices' permission. Which proves that it's not needed.

notifications setting doesn't work. i tried changing the notifications settings but it's still not making a noise when a message comes thru or for a phone call. it's like a silent notification. unless I am actively using the app then it makes a sound. but if the app is closed and I'm on another app or my phone is just sitting there I don't get any notification sound. not convenient when my child is calling me or texting me and I'm not actively on my phone at the moment.
