About this app

XerraDa isn't about picking from photos: it's about talking.

XerraDa is the app for meeting people in Mallorca. Here you start by introducing yourself: pick someone you'd like to meet, introduce yourself, and they know it. If they introduce themselves too, the chat opens.

THE ISLAND'S AGENDA
· Events: gigs, after-work drinks, theatre, culture and fiestas across Mallorca, town by town, inside the same app.
· "I'm going": say which plans you're going to and see who else is going. A plan is the best excuse to introduce yourself.

HOW IT WORKS
· Discover: people on your island. Those who have already introduced themselves to you come first, then active people, and the order renews so you keep seeing new faces.
· Introduce yourself: you get free introductions every day (more with XerraDer). When they run out, they come back at 00:00.
· Want to talk right now? Send a XerraDa: it opens the chat with that person straight away.
· With an introduction, the chat opens when interest is mutual: no messages from strangers.
· If you open a chat with a XerraDa and they haven't replied yet, you get 3 messages: a safety net so nobody gets flooded. Once they reply, you can talk without limits.
· Voice notes and stickers, just like your everyday messenger.
· Ephemeral photos: the other person sees a blurred preview and decides whether to open it. Once opened, it deletes itself (or after 24 h) and the original is destroyed.
· Fits: when interest is mutual, the fit appears and the conversation is already open. The Fits tab is where the ones who haven't talked yet are waiting.

CLOSE TO YOU, IN YOUR LANGUAGE
· All of Mallorca: town by town, from Palma to the Tramuntana.
· In Spanish, Mallorcan (the island's own variant of Catalan), English and German: you choose, and change it whenever you want.

REAL PEACE OF MIND
· 18+ only: if the date of birth you enter shows you are underage, you cannot get in.
· Report and block right from the chat. Real actions, not just a warning.
· We don't ask for GPS: you set your town in your profile.
· No ad SDKs and we don't sell your data.
· Delete your account from the app whenever you want: your profile, photos, chats and gems go with it.

A HOUSE DETAIL
"XerraDa" comes from talk: here, people "xerra".

What’s new

Lighter and faster: we've optimised the internal code, so the app takes up less space and opens sooner on your phone. Nothing changes in how you use it: you still discover people from the island, introduce yourself at your own pace and chat. 18+.
