Update - I'm grateful for the rudimentary offline mode. But if it could be integrated into the main app like Lichess, it would be great. Right now offline is more like an emergency than an integral part of the app. 09-07-2023 Good beginners app, please add a 2 player offline mode.

Used to work really well but in the last year of updates they messed up the game review system and introduced many bugs. No longer recommend.

best app I've found for playing with friends, as well as random strangers, whichever I feel like. other apps seem to focus more on the feature of pairing you up with random people, and I found it more difficult to connect with specific people. also very good for learning the game to begin with
