Ratings and reviews

For anyone who is thinking of buying the G8 just know this app will make you regret your decision. You will face constant crashes requiring you to restart the game to get it working again. The developers don't seem to care as feedbacks either don't go through or are ignored. And if you thinking you can get games to work without the app then you wrong, most games need the app for you to map your keys and since the app even crashes on the home screen you would be stuck with no options

The app is absolutely terrible. I recommend only downloading it to update firmware, or map paddles if you need to & when you need to. After that just delete the app. The G8/X2S will allow for switching to PS mode for Remote Play if you do not have the app installed which is why I got rid of it. My S23+ is constantly asking me if I want to put the app in deep sleep because the app keeps crashing and draining battery in the background.

The entire reason I downloaded the app was to remap a couple controls and raise the mouse sensitivity. Changing these settings doesn't actually change. This is for the VX2 adapter on Series X. The layout is good and easy to navigate, but at the end of the day if you can't use it for it's purpose nothing else really matters. Will update this if it starts working in the future. Edit: 3 Dec 2022, and it it still doesn't work. Edit: 10 Aug 2023, still doesn't work.
