overall this is a terrible app. There are connectivity issues , camera issues as well as detection issues. sometimes, the app will say the motion is detected when there's nobody there, and sometimes, when somebody is there, no motion is detected. it cannot detect motion from far away even though the person is showing up in camera and walking around. And when you want to save a video and save it to an obtuse location that cannot be detected on the phone. file save location cannot be changed.

I get a notification every minute (no exaggeration) that people are detected. This happens 24/7 (no exaggeration). This happens...all...night...long. The sensitivity is turned down as low as it can go, so I don't even know what motion could be setting it off. I would like to keep the notifications on so I can know when someone is actually at my door, but not if it goes off every minute.

I don't trust this app on my device because it forces you to give it the permission of "management of all files" to be able to have access to the app. The Akaso app doesn't do that. After using this, I was signed out of some of the apps on my phone which makes me wonder if my passwords are being stolen (foreign apps are known to spy). I keep my storage permission off anytime I am done viewing the videos and you should too.
