The Meghalaya Tourism Application provides a single window access to various resources that a tourist would require to plan their visit and during their stay in Meghalaya. As per Government regulation to visit Meghalay, every tourist would need to get a Pass; this app would facilitate issuing a pass. All the information available through the app are authentic and verified.


This App is a part of the Meghalaya Tourism Information, Management and Engagement (MTIME) platform, run by the Government of Meghalaya. The same application caters to the requirement of Tourists and Service Providers, based on the profile chosen during registration. By default, the app starts in the Tourist Mode, where an user can traverse through various resources like hotels, transport etc. To book any of these resources, he has to register as a Tourist. Tourist registration is open for all, does not need any approval.
During registration, users can choose to register as a Service Provider. There are various kinds of Service Provider, under the MTIME Platform: Accommodation Provider, Tourist Guide, Tour Operator. Based on the provider type chosen, the app user interface provides specific facility pertaining to the service. Service Providers needs to get approved to be listed in the platform and use the functionality of the provider application.

Uploaded details of the guests are vanishing.We are told that once you upload the details of the guests,we need not send the details to the police station.But if the app's function doesn't improve,it will be a problem for the hotels and guesthouses.

Extremely useless interface. Not able to sign in. After otp generation it's just keeps repeating. The website doesn't work either. Either they don't want tourists to visit or they have unqualified software developers who can't even addressed the issues in spite of complaints.

Worst experience better not to visit .... waste of time...plus they wont allow unless we book hotel,, we need to book hotel though u are not staying... this is something which i didnt like personally and to be added the behaviour of the staff was so bad they were so rude... It is better not to visit ... It would have been better if i would have gone to some other place for vacation... To be honest waste of time and money...
