About this app

Lost your earbuds, a smart band, a watch or a speaker at home, in the car or at the office? Warmfind listens for its Bluetooth signal and tells you in plain words whether you are getting warmer or colder.

Finds a band that is still connected
Many finder apps only listen for devices that broadcast. A band or watch that is still connected to your phone through its own app stops broadcasting, so those apps cannot see it. Warmfind lists the devices connected to your phone right now next to the ones nearby, each with a live signal bar.

Warmer or colder as you walk
Pick the device and walk. A gauge in four steps shows how close it is: Far, Nearby, Same room, In reach. Warmer, Colder or Steady tells you whether to keep going or turn back, and the beeps get faster as you get closer. Within reach, it tells you to search by hand: under cushions, in bags and in jacket pockets.

Which way is it?
Hold the phone flat at your chest and turn slowly on the spot. Your body blocks part of the signal, so the phone can tell where it was strongest and shows an arrow: probably that way. Walls bounce signals, so take it as a hint and repeat it from another spot. When the signal is about the same all around, the app says it is not sure instead of guessing.

What it finds
Earbuds, headphones, smart bands, watches and speakers that are switched on and within Bluetooth range.

What it cannot do
It cannot hear earbuds in a closed case, or devices that are switched off, flat or out of range. It shows no map, keeps no location history and gives no exact distance: walls, bodies and soft furniture change the signal, so the app shows rough steps instead of numbers.

Your devices stay on your phone
No account. Device names and signal readings stay on your phone while the app is open; they are never stored or sent. On Android 12 and newer, Warmfind asks for the Nearby devices permission and never for your location. Android 11 and older require location access before any app can look for Bluetooth devices: Warmfind asks for it for that reason only and never reads your location.

Free, with a fair Pro
Warmer and colder are free. Your first direction scan is free; after that, watch a short ad per scan, or get Pro once for unlimited scans and no ads. One payment, no subscription.
Ads: a banner on the device list, and a rewarded ad only when you choose to watch one for a scan. No ads while you search for a device.
