About this app

Xplora app is designed for parents or guardians to manage Xplora smartwatch.

Xplora app uses your daily activity health information from your smartphones (Health app) such as step data to track your day & progress over time. Your activity will be your power source to join our activity campaigns and compete with your children with Xplora smartwatches.

In the app, you can

* Manage contacts of kids watch
* Voice calling and messaging to kids watch
* Check its location of kids watch
* Manage a safety zone
* Manage school mode

Update after my early review. I thought the new app version fixed the bugs from the old one but it was just coincidence. The watch is fine for calling, but nothing else works reliably. Literally every time I want to see where my kid is, it "couldn't refresh location". I might get notifications in the middle of the night of messages I already saw weeks ago, or then no notifications for new messages at all. Notifications for calls made between friends drown all useful notifications.

Super poor quality, messages from the watch just don't appear sometimes (as later was discovered, it's related to the updates, which you are supposed to to MANUALLY), it randomly logs you out, the updates are not automatic and whenever there's a new update - the app just stops working properly. Logging in is super confusing with constant "Too many requests", ended up just deleting and reinstalling the app. If it was up to me - would never use it.

the app is logging me out, almost every month and this is not due to any phone settings. you can imagine how frustrating it is to find this out just when you wanted to check on the kid! a workaround is to sign in with your devices google account (very quick) instead of creating one based on either a phone number or an e.mail which you probabibly forget at some point.
