About this app

Thousands of photos? Tens of thousands? No problem.
FaceArchive finds your family's faces in your photos — right on your phone — and turns them into a life album for each person.
Sorted by face
• Albums per person — photos of the same person gathered automatically. You set names and relationships (me, spouse, child, mom, dad…)
• Merge the same person — if one person was split in two, long-press to select and merge in one tap. People with the same name are flagged for you
• Someone else mixed in? Remove them with [Not this person]
• Follows the same person as their face changes over the years
Automatic photo types
• Solo — photos with just one face
• Family photos — two or more family members you've set relationships for
• Group photos — three or more people together
• For each person, filter by Solo · Family · Group · Videos · Favorites
Life timeline & memories
• Life timeline — 2022, 2023, 2024… every year of someone's life at a glance
• Taken together — "Mom & Nayun", "Dad & Nayun"
• Automatic memories — photos from the same day or trip grouped together, titled only with what the photos show
• On this day — photos from N years ago today
• AI best shot — the sharpest, eyes-open frame from a burst, with reasons (never deletes anything)
• Natural search — "Nayun 2025", "mom and Nayun", "beach last summer", "videos"
Viewing
• Pinch to zoom photos, double-tap to enlarge
• Videos play right inside the app — no jumping to another app
Create
• AI life album — pick a person and a period; duplicates and bursts removed, best photos arranged in chapters
• Edit albums — title, cover, order, remove photos
• Growth video — with music synthesized on the device (no copyright worries)
• PDF album — A4 · square · photo book (no location data)
Privacy first
• All face analysis happens on your phone — photos and face data are never uploaded
• Face recognition only after separate consent, encrypted with a device key
• AI only suggests; you decide names and relationships. Unknown faces are never forced into a group
• Originals are never deleted or modified
• No sign-up; core features work offline
• Delete face data, analysis results or all app data anytime
• English · 한국어 · 中文 · 日本語 · Français · Deutsch
