• Customer Messaging allows dealership staff to respond quickly, streamlining interactions with customers.

• DealerChat expedites work in progress by facilitating communications with internal employees.

• Mobile Inspect allows technicians to complete multipoint inspections from anywhere. Users can take photos, videos, and audio clips of inspected vehicles and attach to the recommended services. Vehicle history is available with each and every vehicle inspection.

• Users will receive push notifications on their mobile device when Xtime alerts are triggered for events such as new customer messages or new RO assignments.

Xtime Mobile App can be downloaded for free, but does require a monthly subscription and signed license agreement. If you log into the app and do not see any data, please verify with management that you have a license agreement to use the app. If you are an existing Xtime user and would like to utilize this app, please contact your Xtime sales representative.

I had very few issues for months when coworkers were having issues much more frequently than I was. One day, it updated, and now I can't even log in or get the app to load more than the log in and have it spinning the loading icon at me. Quit updating the app when it is working fine, AFAIK it's an app for work and business, it doesn't need to be perfect, just usable to get the job done.

New version rolled out this week, and they've mangled the camera ONCE AGAIN. Tell me you don't beta your product without telling me. 1) The main camera button again does video only, pics are a small side button. Video is very inconvenient to go back and review, if I need quick info like a licence plate or maint code. 2) The field of view is messed up. 1x zoom and I have to stand nearly 10ft back just to get a single door in frame. 3) They've removed the thumbnail stack in favor of a counter.

Videos do not upload at all for Android phones (other techs with Android have the same issue). Pictures can be uploaded fine. Zoom feature for taking pictures does not work at all. The picture taken reverts back to 1.0 magnification. This app basically takes some of the workload off of Service Advisors/Writers and pushes it onto the Technician. Technician to customer transparency is a good idea and it does help in that aspect. They updated the app (05/13/25) and now Androids can upload videos.
