About this app

■ What NoDial does
• Blocks the calls you make, not the ones you receive.
• Blocks one number at a time: add each number you've decided not to call.
• Blocks around the clock, or only on the days and hours you choose.
• Or allows just a set number of calls per day, week, or month, and blocks the rest.
• Rules can be changed anytime and apply the moment you save.

■ Block the numbers you've decided not to call
NoDial is an Android app that physically stops calls your willpower alone can't. Add the number of someone you've decided to stop contacting, and calls to that number simply won't go through — no need to delete the contact.

■ Not a "contact vault." An outgoing wall.
NoDial doesn't work like apps that hide or lock your contacts. It uses Android's built-in call redirection system (CallRedirectionService) to stop outgoing calls to any number you've registered. Even if you know the number by heart, the call won't connect.

■ Remember why each number is there
You can attach a short memo to each number ("ex", "the office") so you remember why it's there. Memos stay on your device only.

■ Built with no "undo" button
There's no button in NoDial to remove a number once it's been added. That's by design — so a weaker moment can't talk you out of it. The only exception is a typo: each number can be corrected once. If you want to unblock a number, you'll need to either close your account from within the app or uninstall the app entirely. Closing your account deletes your account, registered numbers, and history immediately and permanently. The door out is always there — it just requires a clear-headed decision to walk through it.

■ Pricing: your first number is free, always
NoDial lets you block one phone number and use every feature, completely free, with no payment information required. If you want to block a second number or more, you'll need Premium (monthly, auto-renewing; price shown in Google Play), which removes the limit on how many numbers you can block. Payment is handled through Google Play Billing, and you can cancel anytime from your Google Play subscriptions page. Refunds are not prorated and follow Google Play's standard refund policy.

■ Emergency numbers are never blocked
911, 999, 112, and other major emergency numbers are excluded at the system level — they can never be added as blocked numbers. Your ability to call for help in an emergency is always protected.

■ We don't know who you are
NoDial is built around privacy by design. It never asks for your email address, password, name, or contacts. Your account is an anonymous ID created when you first open the app. The numbers you block are hashed on your device before they're sent, so our server never sees the actual numbers. Beyond that, we keep only what the app needs: your blocking rules, app language, country code and device language, app version and last-active date, your subscription status (via Google Play), a push-notification token, and anonymous usage analytics (Firebase).

■ Switching phones or uninstalling
NoDial is tied to your device, so blocked numbers aren't transferred automatically — on a new phone, add them again. Your Premium subscription belongs to your Google account: open NoDial on the new phone with the same Google account and Premium is restored automatically. Uninstalling the app or closing your account does not cancel the subscription; cancel it from the Google Play subscriptions page.

■ NoDial might not be for you if:
• You want to block incoming calls (NoDial only blocks outgoing calls)
• You need formal invoices for business accounting (Google Play automatically issues a purchase receipt, but we don't provide separate business invoices)

• Android 10 (API level 29) or higher
• A device that supports call redirection (CallRedirectionService)
• An internet connection (required for registration and sync)
