Taskingby is a lightweight freelance work app built for tracking client briefs from your phone. It helps solo freelancers stay organized by saving each client brief with a client name, work type, current stage, and an optional next-step note. The Desk tab gives you a fast dashboard view with counters for total briefs, in progress work, and waiting items, plus a quick way to add a new brief. It also highlights your three most recently updated briefs so the latest jobs are always easy to revisit.
The Briefs tab shows your full list of client briefs in one place, sorted by recent activity for easier follow-up. You can create new briefs, open existing ones, update details as work changes, or delete old entries when a job is done. Simple stage filters help you narrow the list to new, in progress, or waiting work without extra clutter. The Search tab provides a dedicated space to find briefs quickly by client name or work type with live results as you type.
The Focus tab brings one selected brief forward in a larger detail view, making it easier to review the current stage and next action before a call, visit, or work session. Quick actions let you move a brief to its next stage or edit it on the spot. All data is stored locally on your device, so your briefs stay available for everyday use without accounts or setup. Taskingby is ideal for freelancers, students, and side hustlers who want a practical offline way to manage local jobs, remember follow-ups, and keep client work moving.
