Yaaran — your farm, properly recorded
Yaaran is a goat, sheep and cattle management app built for the small and mid-size livestock farms of Pakistan. It replaces the notebook, the scattered WhatsApp voice notes and the memory of who paid what with one record the whole farm can trust. Every animal, every mating, every rupee and every reminder lives in one place, and keeps working when the signal drops.
It is built for the people who actually do the work: the owner who sells, the manager who runs the baara, and the worker who feeds and treats.
YOUR HERD, IN ONE PLACE
Add an animal once and it stays findable: tag number, name, species, breed, sex, date of birth, current weight, purchase cost and how it arrived. Search by tag, name or note; filter by status, species or sex. The dashboard counts what is available, reserved and pregnant, so the number you quote a buyer is the number in the app.
WEIGHTS AND HISTORY THAT ADD UP
Record weights over time and watch an animal grow instead of guessing from a glance. Each animal carries its own history: status changes, pregnancy checks, treatments, notes, photos and money, all on one profile.
BREEDING, WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK
Record a mating and Yaaran works out the expected kidding date from the doe's breed, then keeps that date in front of you. Log pregnancy checks by rectal or by observation. Record the kidding with each kid, its sex, birth weight and tag. Matings and expected kiddings each have their own view, so nothing quietly slips past its date.
HEALTH AND WITHDRAWAL SAFETY
Log vaccinations, dewormings, check-ups, injections, hoof trimming and illness, for a single animal or for a group at once. When a dose carries a withdrawal period, Yaaran tells you the exact date the meat is safe again and lists every animal still under withdrawal. That detail is what keeps a sale honest.
MONEY THAT MATCHES REALITY
Record expenses by category: feed and fodder, veterinary, labour, transport, equipment, utilities, other. Record income by source: milk, wool, manure, rental. Sell an animal for cash or on installments, and Yaaran keeps the schedule: the down payment, every installment, its due date and whether it has been paid, is pending or is overdue. Collections due shows what is still owed, by whom, and when it falls due. See the month's balance at a glance, then filter the ledger by animal, group or batch.
VOICE NOTES, BECAUSE WRITING IS SLOW
Hold the button and speak, in Urdu, English or a mix of both. Notes can be attached to an animal, pinned so the ones you reach for daily stay at the top, or given a reminder date.
IT WORKS WHERE THE FARM IS
Everything is saved on the device first and uploaded when there is a connection, so a day out in the field is not a day of lost records. A PIN lock opens the app offline, five wrong tries lock it, and nothing in the app waits on the network to be readable.
MADE FOR THE WHOLE TEAM
Sign in as owner, manager or worker. Each role sees only what it should: a worker's account never shows the farm's ledger, and money is stripped out of every response before it reaches the screen. Groups let you file animals together and set the same vaccine or vet reminder for all of them.
IN ENGLISH AND URDU
The whole interface switches between English and Urdu, with a proper right-to-left layout, Urdu numerals and the same wording throughout. Dates and rupees are written the way your farm reads them.
BUILT TO BE TRUSTED
Every change is recorded with its date and who made it. Sold, pregnant and deceased animals stay in the record rather than disappearing, so the history of the farm survives the animals. Categories, species, breeds and genders are yours to edit, because no two farms run the same way.
